One of my favorite things about hosting a trunk show is watching, in real time, which pieces women respond to instinctively. The Lafayette 148 Spring 2026 Pieces Everyone Fell in Love With at My Trunk Show became instant favorites among my guests.
It always happens.

What Made These Pieces Stand Out
The women shopping this trunk show weren’t looking for pieces that were simply pretty. They were drawn to pieces that felt right. Pieces with presence, wearability, movement, and longevity.
That’s what I think Lafayette 148 does so well.

What Everyone Loved the Most
Linen Viscose Gates Pant
This pant was one of the first breakout favorites from the trunk show, and it’s easy to understand why.
In the Dahlia colorway (shown below), it sold out in about a week and had to be recut because demand was so strong. That alone tells you a lot.

This jacket was actually one of the surprise hits of the show! I knew it'd be attention-grabbing, but once it was on the body?? That was different story!
The moment people touched it, they understood.

What I love most is that it has a modern silhouette, but it still feels sophisticated. It doesn’t veer too casual, and it doesn’t try too hard. To me, this is the elevated warm-weather alternative to denim. It gives you the versatility of a jean, but in a far more refined and luxurious way. It’s soft, chic, and easy to wear, but it still looks polished and intentional.

Chambray Patch Pocket Maxi Shirtdress
There are some dresses that do all the work for you, and this is definitely one of them.
The Chambray Patch Pocket Maxi Shirtdress is effortless in the most elegant way. It has that ease we all want in spring dressing, but it still feels elevated and beautifully considered. You put it on, and you’re done. There’s no overthinking required.
That’s one of the reasons it resonated so strongly at the trunk show.

This blouse was one of the more charming pieces in the collection, and clients were immediately drawn to it.
The Manhattan Print Silk Twill Button Blouse has so much personality, but it’s delivered in a very refined, elegant way. I love the whimsical New York street scenes, delicately placed on one of Lafayette 148’s most popular blouse silhouettes. It feels artistic, sophisticated, and a little unexpected.
And then there’s the silk twill, which is absolutely divine.
It has that beautiful fluidity and richness that makes a blouse feel truly luxurious. This is the sort of piece that can instantly elevate something as simple as a trouser or a skirt, and it gives an outfit a point of view without making it feel busy.
It was a client favorite for very good reason!
Metallic Stripe Fine Gauge Cashmere Sweater
This sweater was such a lovely surprise for many of my ladies at the trunk show.
At first glance, you see the elegance of it. Then you touch it, and you really understand.

Why I Always Pay Attention to the Best Sellers
At every trunk show, there are pieces I personally love, and then there are the pieces that women collectively respond to in a very clear, very immediate way.
I always pay attention to that.
Because when a piece becomes a best seller this quickly, it usually means it’s doing several things beautifully at once. It’s not just visually appealing. It feels good. It fits well. It flatters. It fills a real gap in a wardrobe. It makes women feel polished, comfortable, and confident.
That’s what these pieces did.
They weren’t just admired. They were chosen.
And that, to me, is always the clearest sign that something is worth taking seriously.
The Favorites are Already Becoming Harder to Find
