Ring, ring, ring! It’s me, Roxanne, calling! I'm here to give you the latest update on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! The sale went live Tuesday (07/11) for Icon members, on Wednesday for Ambassadors (07/12), and TODAY (07/13), the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale goes live for cardholders who have Influencer Status. Twice each year, Nordstrom puts on one of the biggest sitewide sales. Right now is your chance to stock up on all things summer, pre-fall, accessories, back-to-work trends, and shoes! Lucky you! I did all the behind-the-scenes work to curate the most up-to-date Style Guide so that you can easily swipe your card!
Here’s a reminder of the Nordstrom cardholder hierarchy for you:
- Icon: This is the crème de la crème of the Nordstrom sale. As an ‘Icon’ status member, you must have spent $15,000 at Nordstrom this past year. One of the best perks of this status level is that you’ll have first access beginning tonight (technically 12:01 a.m. ET). Not only is this status first to shop, but it also offers free alterations (for garments purchased at Nordstrom), access to lifestyle workshops, 5 personal double points days, priority access to events, dining and spa experiences, same-day deliveries, no fees, access to Nordstrom after-hours, Icon-only events, and Icon level customer service. Icons shop July 11-16.
- Ambassador: The second tier of the sale includes the ‘Ambassadors’ status. You must have spent at least $5,000 in the past year at Nordstrom. As an Ambassador, you can access free basic alterations, first-to-shop access, lifestyle workshops, 4 personal double points days, and invite-only events. You have early access to shop from July 12 to 16.
- Influencer: The third tier of the Nordstrom sale includes ‘Influencers.’ You must have spent $500 in the past year at Nordstrom to hold this status. If you are an Influencer, you can access free basic alterations, first-to-shop access, lifestyle workshops, 4 personal double points days, and priority access to fashion events. Your early access begins July 13 to 16.
- Member: The first three tiers are for Nordstrom cardholders. To become a member, you do not need a Nordstrom card, but you do need to have an account (hint: Nordstrom member accounts are free!). Members can access free basic alterations, first-to-shop access, and lifestyle workshops. This is access for the public. Members and everyone else from the public may shop from July 17 to August 6.
*If you're worried that my top picks will be gone by the time your status gains access (yes, popular pieces go fast!), do not fret!! I’ll update my top picks as each tier is allowed access to offer you the most up-to-date style guides for your wardrobe. You’re in luck! Nordstrom continues to add new items to the sale each day, so don’t feel down if it isn’t your chance to shop yet! There is plenty to go around!
You may be wondering, what’s the big deal about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? Some of the brands and categories of the store only go on sale once or twice a year. So, if you’ve had your eye on a piece recently, now is your chance to snatch it up! The prices will go back up on August 7th. Nordstrom has an incredible return policy – as long as the item(s) you purchase during the sale isn’t noted as ‘final sale,’ it is eligible for return for whatever reason you may have.
My Top Tips for Shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
- There are many items in each of my lists, so make sure you view them all before making your final selections.
- Remember, each garment is available in different sizes. Check the size guides Nordstrom provides (they’re VERY good at providing the actual brand’s sizing charts), model measurements, and garment silhouettes to determine your best fit. - There are pieces included here for everyone! No matter your budget, you're sure to find something that works for you in my guide.
- And most importantly… if you love it, BUY it now! Hot items go fast and may not be available when you return for them later!!
