Every once in a while, I have the opportunity to collaborate with fantastic emerging brands, and I’m always SO excited to see and learn fresh perspectives in women’s fashion. Recently, I connected with Bhavana Jain, a Chicago-based emerging women’s designer, who serves up classic choices with a modern twist. Her design aesthetic exudes a quiet elegance and also is very classic, making her pieces a potential staple in your wardrobe.
Breaking into the fashion industry as a designer is no easy feat. I’m always tickled to pieces when I meet great designers like Bhavana who are successfully crafting their visions into tangible products.
Another thing that I really am pleased about sharing is that everything that she produces is made in the U.S.A., more specifically, in her Chicagoland! Many designers curate textiles and complete manufacturing in foreign countries, so it’s very special to have a home-grown designer give back to her community by leveraging local businesses.
